The Ohio State Highway Patrol is a statewide law enforcement agency charged with the responsibility of enforcing traffic and criminal laws on public roadways and on state-owned or leased property within Ohio. State Troopers shall fulfill all duties within the authority and jurisdiction of the Ohio State Highway Patrol as prescribed in Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Chapter 5503.

Becoming a Tennessee State Trooper

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is recruiting men and women interested in careers in law enforcement. The THP plans to conduct a Trooper Cadet class in 2008. Trooper Training is a 19-week course.
